I wouldn’t say it’s a reboot exactly, but it sure seems that way. At least Hugh Jackman’s back.

	Rating: B Commentary: This stylish Japanese watercolor style has a certain charm and conveys simply the setting and identity of the film.	Rating: B+ Commentary: Whereas the prior Origins film didn’t do a very capable job of introducing us to a character we were completely familiar with, this new trailer promises a gripping moral thriller with solid character development and interesting philosophical questions.

Oscar Chances: The X-Men films haven’t been very big players at the Oscars and I doubt this one will do much with that, but if it’s a big enough hit and other competitors fall by the wayside, it could do well in some of the tech categories.
