Review: (#1) I give the designers credit for doing something different with the design. They don’t go for traditional scare tactics and set the film’s central conceit up nicely, but the visual style just isn’t good enough. (#2) Some posters use atmospheric or natural elements to create faces or other constructs and when it’s done right, it’s miraculous. However, when it’s done wrong, as it is here, it looks ludicrous and cheesy.

Trailer Rating: B-

Review: It’s hard to get much of a gist from this trailer of why it’s so crucial the audience watch the film. There are some strange and compelling moments, but overall it just doesn’t seem to do a lot that’s interesting or salutatory.

Oscar Prospects:

None.
