Review: It’s almost impossible to understand what the purpose of this film is. Is it a celebration of Morrissey and the Smiths? Is it a drama about the relationship between mother and daughter? Is it an exploration of drugged stupors? It’s hard to be sure, but it might ultimately be a combination of the three.
