Poster Rating: C-

Review: More split-screen posters, this one seems strangely similar in coloration and style to the one for Atonement. Bright colors surround the female of the story while darker colors highlight the male.

Trailer Rating: B

Review: There’s something intriguing about the idea of being trapped in your own head, unable to escape your the less-than-real vision. But after that segment of the trailer passes, you’re jolted with several somewhat disinteresting scenes.

Oscar Prospects:

High concept films rarely ever achieve Oscar glory. This film doesn’t seem to have much hope in breaking beyond that niche unless it taps into the audience that made The Barbarian Invasions a more-than-Foreign Language Film nominee.

Release Date:

November 30, 2007

Synopsis:

A tremendous film about the power of the human spirit and one man’s struggle to write a novel about his experience despite his near total paralysis.
