Poster Rating: D; B-

Review: A man alone walking through the gates of the university he is going to attend. So tangentially related to the trailer’s purported plot, this poster is completely absurd. It’s neither engaging and is far too colorful for a non-animated film.

The second poster is much more germaine to the film’s subject matter. It also feels a lot less forced and more interesting to look at.
The colors also work quite well together, but the red lettering at the top sticks out like a soar thumb.

Trailer Rating: C

Review: Another film about dancing bringing together different people and forging a team. Sure the stepping looks complicated and interesting, but the loose plot wrapped around it promises very little.

Oscar Prospects:

There really is no good reason for this film to figure at the Oscars. After all, the Academy’s Board of Governors have repeatedly denied the creation of a Choreography category and this film would have been a contender.
