Review: (#1) This epitomizes the original french title, La Tรชte Haute (head high) without making the film seem overly optimistic. While the design isn’t particularly appealing visually, in comparison it’s a fine design. (#2) Now, we just have a brooding protagonist without context and while this plays better to the French title in general, it’s just bland overall. (#3) And here we have the overly precious, happy ending cheap design that looks so incredibly fake that the only way for it to feel less genuine is to watch the trailer.

Trailer Rating: B+

Review: Catherine Deneuve is a star of French cinema, but here she let’s her young co-star, whose film it really is, shine in fascinating ways. The trailer cobbles together various scenes from the film, sets up expectations, but doesn’t entirely tell the audience where it’s definitively headed.

Oscar Prospects:

None.
