Review: (#1) A fitting, but lackluster teaser poster that tells us that we’re about to watch a film about the pup named Scooby Doo.

(#2) That vacant background is the most uninteresting part. The stationary stares don’t quite make sense without context. (#3) All the players with none of the filling. This largely vacant design doesn’t doo much to sell the film.

Trailer Rating: B- / B

Review: (#1) While the animation, in large portions, is reminiscent of the original television series, the voice performances are so different as to be distracting. That the trailer doesn’t doo a lot to give the audience an idea of the film’s premise is dispiriting.

(#2) The first trailer didn’t doo much for the film and this second one doesn’t doo much more. The entire film looks rather disjointed and that’s not going to help alleviate concerns that fans of the original cartoon will be disappointed.

Oscar Prospects:

The Animated Feature race starts here, though the Academy’s animation branch has been hostile towards adaptations of television shows, so its chances are minimal.
