From IMDb: “When his new album fails to sell records, pop/rap superstar conner4real goes into a major tailspin and watches his celebrity high life begin to collapse. He’ll try anything to bounce back, anything except reuniting with his old rap group The Style Boyz.”

Poster Rating: C+ / C

Review: (#1) A clear play on Justin Bieber, this poster is a bit too blandly yellow for my tastes. It also doesn’t feel enough like a comic parody to be enticing enough.

(#2) You can partly tell what they are trying to do with this design, but it’s an ineffective and somewhat boring concept.

Trailer Rating: C- / C / B-

Review: (#1) What appears to be a comedy based around a backstage documentary concept, this film looks largely unfunny and seems like one of those Saturday Night Live skit adaptations that are actually horrendous when stretched to feature length.

(#2) It has a few new gags, but is mostly a carbon copy of its predecessor. There are humorous moments, but not enough to sustain an entire film.

(#3) This does a better job of conveying the film’s actual premise and it does so in a way that doesn’t make the film look hyper generic. There are still a few funny elements, but there’s still something pointless about it all.
