Review: (#1) If you’re already a fan, this design might pique your interest. If you aren’t, there won’t be much here to steer you to the film.

(#2) While it’s nice to see seldom-used colors in a poster design, this washed out, overly polished effort doesn’t work. (#3) When a poster design looks cheap, it doesn’t encourage interest even when the film has a history with audiences. This effort is so poorly made that it might even turn off fans of the franchise.

Trailer Rating: C+

Review: A full-throated trailer that lacks the chills and thrills one has come to expect from horror films. The trailer feels like a vain attempt to appeal to fans of Orphan without giving them a compelling, unique narrative they’ll be drawn to.

Oscar Prospects:

None.
