Review: The kitchen setting, plus stars in garb is fitting to the film’s subject, but it’s hardly worth looking at. The washed out colors don’t assist Zeta-Jones or Eckhart in being appealing and there’s little to suggest there’s any subtext to the film.

Trailer Rating: B-

Review: The title suggests a documentary about Native Americans. The preview takes the title and shows it to be a film about competing chefs who fall in love. Add to the mixture, a young girl who loses her mother and must show Catherine Zeta-Jones how to be a parent and you have a potentially messy film. This preview will make or break this film as it’s not likely to appeal to many, though the movie itself might not be so bad.

Oscar Prospects:

I have a hard time believing a film like this releasing in July is going to figure in the Oscars. It may not even do well at the box office, being stuck amongst all the mega-blockbusters of the season.
