Review: (#1) The release date being in reverse is a nice visual trick, but there’s not a lot to this design, especially if you don’t know who this character is. (#2) The lighting is off without necessity and the color is as far from passionate as it can be. (#3-#12) This series of character posters are each unique and modestly interesting, but from a design perspective, they aren’t particularly compelling. (#13) The colors are bright and unappealing while the image will be interesting only to the initiated and might not even be that interesting to them.

(#14) Simple and detailed, but uninspiring. (#15) The same rainy setting, but with added warmer hues, which don’t improve anything. (#16) Design 14 is further embellished without genuinely being better. (#17-#18) This pair of posters tie well into one another, but neither is particularly appealing. (#19) Some interesting colors and design work, but it feels a bit overbearing in places and commonplace in others. (#20) This slapdash, overburdended paint-splotched mess is what it is. (#21) This hand-drawn design looks little like Keanu Reeves, so I’m wondering how it made it into full-blown poster mode. (#22) The concept is understandable, but the execution is not. (#23) Nice drawing, but the colors and structure don’t quite work. (#24) Something a bit more appropriate for an advertising campaign, even if the art itself is a bit weak. (#25) This is your moment of zen, a design that would be more fitting to 1969 than 2019.
