Review: The colors are applied hazily and too saturated. The attempt to mimic the setting sun is an interesting thematic correlation, but it’s application is rough and ugly.

Review: We don’t often see films that examine the life of a jockey, especially one at the tail end of his career. The film’s concept still feels familiar as there have been several films about sports stars finding themselves struggling through their waning career. The film does a decent job making a case for the viewer, but not enough of one for special treatment.
