Poster Rating: B+

Review: The colors and image positioning on the poster for In the Shadow of the Moon are pleasing. The poster isn’t so cluttered as to be distracting, but isn’t so bear as to be forgettable.

Trailer Rating: A-

Review: As the number of people who remember the moon landing dwindles, a documentary like this will only serve to return the feeling of nostalgia to them. I may not have been alive during that great excursion to space, but even I can feel chills when the music and images put together in the trailer project onto the screen. If the docu is anything like the trailer, it will be quite enjoyable.

Oscar Prospects:

An Oscar contender if I ever saw one. This film looks like it was made to tug at the memories of the older Academy members, most of whom are more likely to vote for the documentary category than are the younger ones. This could very well end up a winner, especially considering the Ron Howard name attachment.
