Review: Arriving on Fire Island is certainly emblematic of the experience and likely of the film, but it’s not a very compelling design.

Review: Margaret Cho’s comedic moments are kept minimal, which helps add nice doses of comedy to a trailer that doesn’t seem that funny. Yet, the end result is a trailer that has enough pep to be fascinating, but not enough details to be overly familiar. It doesn’t quite set up the conflicting notion of a conflict between “perfect gays” versus “normal gays,” which might have at least improved its overall vision even if it might have made it more niche as a result.
