Review: (#1) There’s a nice balance of images here, but they aren’t as instructive as they need to be and certainly don’t tell the viewer anything about what the film is trying to say. (#2) While it’s nice to see some effort put into a semi-monochromatic background to keep it from looking dully-backed, the foreground image and the titling aren’t interesting and hinder any good will a simple background could invoke.

Trailer Rating: C-

Review: Set pre-World War II, this trailer does a poor job telling the audience the significance of the film or its relevance to cinematic history. It’s impossible to see this and be curious enough to want to watch the film.

Oscar Prospects:

None.
