Review: (#1) Nothing much to see here. The main character, a hammer and a fakely shattered piece of glass. Uninspiring. (#2) A poor execution of colors and background, making for a surprisingly dull effort.

Trailer Rating: C / C+

Review: (#1) The compelling concept of the first film seems largely absent in this trailer as we’re given a girl for the first film’s antihero (hero?) to protect, which makes everything even more predictable and, as a result, less interesting.

(#2) There are a few more interesting bits here, things that would please traditional horror fans. That said, there isn’t enough of that to really make this more than a passable film to most.

Oscar Prospects:

None.
