Review: There’s a nice balance of images here, though the symmetry feels a bit off (probably because the figures on the right are slightly smaller than the figures on the left and that creates an ill-fitting imbalance). There’s almost enough information to genuinely pique the audiences’ interests, but the vampire aspect is a bit too difficult to parse.

Trailer Rating: B+

Review: While this is objectively a comedy and some of the humor is well earned, the premise feels a bit familiar. While the premise is different enough from Timur Bekmambetov’s Russian dystopian horror series starting with Day Watch to be interesting, anyone who’s seen those films can’t escape the feeling of similarity. That said, the end result is still something that looks like it could be quite a bit of fun.

Oscar Prospects:

None.
