Review: (#1) It’s an interesting conceit, as are most Spike Lee film poster designs, but it’s got too much empty space. (#2) This is a bit more detailed and interesting, but it looks a bit cheap.

Trailer Rating: C+

Review: With heavy use of archival footage, you can be excused for thinking that this is a documentary, but it’s a fiction narrative, which isn’t sufficiently explored in the trailer.

Oscar Prospects:

With BlacKkKlansman, Spike Lee made a comeback of sorts, getting him to the Oscars for the first time in a long while and even netting him an Oscar. Was this a new turning point? It’s uncertain, but with good reviews, it could be a contender.
