Review: (#1) The blackboard background is a nice motif, but the whole is fairly commonplace, making it all feel rather uninspired. (#2) Split posters like this are quite common and that fact makes it feel rudimentary at best. The choice of images doesn’t make it any more compelling.

Review: Stand and Deliver it’s not. Nor is it Dangerous Minds or any number of other similar films. It’s not that it stands on its own, it’s that it seems to deliver everything we’ve already seen before with few new insights.
