Review: A road trip/coming of age drama that tries to build on the Catcher in the Rye motif to sell itself. Unfortunately, it’s the elder generation familiar with Holden Caulfield and J.D. Salinger’s fictional novel about him who would have the most interest in this film. Younger generations, unless forced to read it in High School, probably won’t understand its purpose or even care to see it.
