Review: Traveling by train can be magical, but this poster design is not. Not only does it not seem to have any connection to the narrative thematically, it’s also relatively bland.

Review: The trailer moves as plodding as the poster and that doesn’t move anywhere. While it looks at the life of the author of Pippi Longstocking, it does nothing to make that information relevant to the film, nor to the family drama that plays out in the trailer. Ultimately, it looks like everyone one of dozens of other mediocre biopics.
