Review: The blank background reduces the potency of the foreground image by making the whole design dull. Changing the background wouldn’t have improved the foreground all that much, however. Not much would have.

Review: While the film doesn’t look like it’s trying to counter Italian stereotypes, it genuinely feels more like the opposite, a spoof of those very stereotypes. What’s worse is that it presents itself to the audience as a comedy, but feels obvious and unfunny instead.
