	Rating: B- Commentary: It’s definitely a more kid-friendly trailer, but what was with the coloring of the intertitles. Poor choice as it didn’t complement the color scheme of the scenes from the film well at all. Still, most people won’t even pay much attention to that and will see it anyway. 127 HOURS, poster #2

	Plot Summary: Trapped in a crevasse in the Grand Canyon, a young outdoorsman tries to cope with his situation and hope for survival. Release Date: November 5, 2010

	Previous Preview: 127 Hours	Rating: C Commentary: While I somewhat like the concept, I’m not blown away by the execution. Part of the reason is that without knowing about the film already and making a couple of leaps of concept, you are going to be utterly confused by the poster. Also, the “staticky” bars across the poster don’t seem to fit well with the color palette of the background image.

THE KING’S SPEECH, poster

	Plot Summary: When his brother abdicates the throne, King George the VI must overcome his stammering problem to become a vocal and effective leader. Release Date: November 26, 2010

	Previous Preview: The King’s Speech	Rating: C Commentary: A rather muted poster designed to attract audiences who might be familiar with one of the three actors on the screen. And since Colin Firth can be seen in Love Actually, Helena Bonham Carter will be familiar to fans of Tim Burton and Geoffrey Rush had a successful career in the Pirates of the Caribbean series, it might work; however, the design is so rudimentary and unspectacular that it doesn’t speak well to the film’s subject and fades to the background against more conventional and cluttered affairs.

MEGAMIND, poster #9

	Plot Summary: After years fighting against one another, a new villain emerges forcing two arch enemies to work together to defeat him. Release Date: November 5, 2010

	Plot Summary: A film about the rise to power and legal collapse of lobbyist Jack Abramoff. Release Date: December 17, 2010

	Previous Preview: Casino Jack	Rating: D+ Commentary: They are trying so hard to be politically minded that the poster comes off as a pathetic tribute to 1970s posters mixed with films about politics. It’s just not at all pleasing to look at.
