HeNamedMeMalalaFox Searchlight continues their screener onslaught with the acclaimed documentary about Malala Yousafzai.

He Named Me Malala

Director: Davis Guggenheim
Premise: From IMDb: ” look at the events leading up to the Taliban’s attack on Pakistani schoolgirl, Malala Yousafzai, for speaking out on girls’ education followed by the aftermath, including her speech to the United Nations.”
Oscar Chances: Solid: In spite of being an inspiring person, the documentary doesn’t seem to be inspiring critics with tepid reviews abounding. That doesn’t mean a lot with the Academy. By name alone, this is a big contender for at least a nomination, but it won’t get a boost from critics groups.
