The Strange Case of Angelica

Stars: Pilar Lรณpez de Ayala, Leonor Silveira, Ricardo Trรชpa, Filipe Vargas, Ana Maria Magalhรฃes, Luรญs Miguel Cintra, Isabel Ruth
Director: Manoel de Oliveira
Premise: “Set in the 1950s, a photographer is asked by hotel owners to take portraits of their recently deceased daughter.”
Oscar Chances: It doesn’t stand a chance, but of note is that this film represents one of a number of films director de Oliveira has crafted after his 100th birthday and he isn’t showing any signs of stopping.
