Premise: From IMDb: “This documentary tells the rise and fall of the Black Panther Party, one of the 20th century’s most alluring and controversial organizations that captivated the world’s attention for nearly 50 years.”
Oscar Chances: Uncertain: With strong reviews, it could be a contender, but will there be enough Academy members to give so many political films an opportunity and which will find their way into the final race. It’s hard to tell at this point.
