Precursor: 40th London Critics Nominations (2019)

The important distinction about the London Film Critics awards is that they have different eligibility periods than other groups, which could create a few omissions and bring in some titles from the previous year. They also love distinctly British products even if those films aren’t Oscar contenders as is evident with The Souvenir. Of the regular Oscar contenders, this list is filled with many of them.
