In a minor surprise, Elvis claimed the ASC award making Mandy Walker the first woman to win there. Could this also point to an Oscar victory? The historic nature might be tempting and it’s possible, but the only competition here wasn’t Oscar nominated while the bigger contender at the Oscars, All Quiet, wasn’t even nominated, so who knows.
