Releasing weeks before the normal start of Oscar precursor season, the Gotham Awards have announced their nominations this year and there’s a lot of films here that haven’t been getting a lot of chatter, but could get a small boost from this. First Cow was the most nominated with three followed by a sextet of films with two nominations apiece.
