Precursor: 29th Annie Awards Nominations (2020)

Soul was the clear leader at the Annie Awards, but Wolfwalkers gave it a run for its money. Meanwhile, Onward also did well, but The Croods: A New Age, Over the Moon, and non-Oscar contender The Willoughbys also had solid totals. Most nominations usually means most wins at the annual ceremony, so Soul is likely headed for a big win ahead of its likely Oscar victory.
