The Art Directors Guild have made their nominations for this year and there aren’t a lot of omissions that seem obvious, though Mary Queen of Scots was a notable one. Annihilation, If Beale Street Could Talk, and Can You Ever Forgive Me? were possibilities as well, but got no love. Bohemian Rhapsody is not the kind of film that makes an obvious choice here, which suggest it has strong support. The same is true of Crazy Rich Asians.
