Vancouver is really late the game and their selections just aren’t that interesting as a result. They make odd choices and The Power of the Dog takes the most nominations, but doesn’t get in for either actor or screenplay, two of the odder choices. The Canadian film nominations haven’t been announced and I have no idea when they will be, though their awards are slated for March 7.
