The Satellite Awards are among the most confusing and frustrating groups out there. I don’t know if their rules document mentioned half of what happened, but they announced their nominations a day early, then announced their winners two months before their awards ceremony. Further, they have decided to award two awards in Picture, Actor, and Actress, one for a major release and one for an independent release. These winners came from a single pool, not separate categories. Here are the winners for what it’s worth, which is almost nothing.
