The traditional period dramas are largely absent with films set during the Civil War, the 1970’s and the 1960’s largely dominant. None of the selections are particularly unusual, nor are the choices in the other categories. You could probably pull in some of the Art Direction selections from the Fantasy category and eliminate one or two Period selections and you’ll have the final nominees. (Comments posted 1/12/14)
