A group that goes back and forth between having nominations and not, the North Texas Critics Association, a smaller subset of Texas critics outside of the more familiar Houston and Dallas critics groups, have chosen Nomadland as their top nominee, but gave strong counts to Minari (which they incorrectly attributed to Korea when it’s a U.S.-produced film), Mank, The Trial of the Chicago 7 and Promising Young Woman.
