A tough week to predict as Contagion has genre propping it up as a possible box office threat. Warrior, however, has the for certain uplift factor that could triumph. The only real issue for Warrior is that Contagion is opening far wider, which means it will likely win the weekend.

Bucky Larson: Born to Be a Star: This is one of those movies that no one was expecting to do anything but bomb.
Contagion: Good awards buzz and solid cast should make for the best of the weekend’s viewing.
Warrior: If you love fight movies, this may be your best chance all year.
