The first post-Labor Day weekend will see if My Big Fat Greek Wedding 3 can be a success like the original or a flop like the second film. It’s up against The Nun II, which will ensure it doesn’t become the biggest film of the weekend. Heck, it probably won’t even beat the second weekend of The Equalizer 3.

My Big Fat Greek Wedding 3
Wesley Lovell: The first film was ok, but I have no desire to return to these characters.
Peter J. Patrick: The first one was annoying, the second one was unnecessary as is this.
The Nun II
Wesley Lovell: Religious horror isn’t my thing.
Peter J. Patrick: Silly, derivative horror film.

The Limited Slate
Wesley Lovell: A Million Miles Away, despite looking overly familiar, is the only one of these that I’m generally interested in, though El Conde could be interesting.
Peter J. Patrick: On the whole this week’s spate of limited releases seems to be the better option with El Conde and Good Boy offering more interesting horror narratives than wide release Nun II.
