Delayed a year, the last Daniel Craig James Bond film is sure to make quite the splash. Early reviews are solid, so it should appeal to audiences and with each subsequent new release showing new teeth at the Pandemic Era box office, I see No Time to Die topping the chart with the second weekend of Venom: Let There Be Carnage a close second.

Individual Commentary:

Wesley Lovell (WL): Although the Daniel Craig era has been very rocky, there’s still something wonderful about seeing the newest Bond film in the theater.
Peter J. Patrick (PP): A James Bond film is always welcome at the box office.
Thomas LaTourette (TL): The Bond movies are usually entertaining, though at 163 minutes, this one may wear out its welcome.

Individual Commentary:

Wesley Lovell (WL): Some potent actors involved and early word is strong, so this could be worth checking out.
Peter J. Patrick (PP): This critically acclaimed ensemble film could end up with all four stars nominated for supporting awards.
Thomas LaTourette (TL): It sounds like an explosive four person drama, with strong performances throughout, though the trailer barely touches on that.

Individual Commentary:

Wesley Lovell (WL): An interesting premise even if the trailer doesn’t have great execution.
Peter J. Patrick (PP): Quirky crime drama doesn’t hold much interest for me.
Thomas LaTourette (TL): Although it may prove interesting to see Jason Sudeikis in a serious role, the movie looks a little trite.

Individual Commentary:

Wesley Lovell (WL): Another throwaway Bruce Willis effort.
Peter J. Patrick (PP): Loud, noisy actioner looks like something to avoid.
Thomas LaTourette (TL): It looks like the typical Bruce Willis shoot ’em up, even though it is mostly set on a farm. I bet the good guys prevail.

Individual Commentary:

Wesley Lovell (WL): It’s hard to say what kind of film this will be, but I’m cautiously optimistic.
Peter J. Patrick (PP): Looks like a deadly dull French drama.
Thomas LaTourette (TL): It seems terribly French, which is not a put down, but I am not sure where the movie will be going.
