Looking at the Weekend: Oct. 8-10, 2021

Delayed a year, the last Daniel Craig James Bond film is sure to make quite the splash. Early reviews are solid, so it should appeal to audiences and with each subsequent new release showing new teeth at the Pandemic Era box office, I see No Time to Die topping the chart with the second weekend of Venom: Let There Be Carnage a close second.

	Wesley Lovell (WL): Although the Daniel Craig era has been very rocky, there’s still something wonderful about seeing the newest Bond film in the theater. Peter J. Patrick (PP): A James Bond film is always welcome at the box office. Thomas LaTourette (TL): The Bond movies are usually entertaining, though at 163 minutes, this one may wear out its welcome.

	Wesley Lovell (WL): Some potent actors involved and early word is strong, so this could be worth checking out. Peter J. Patrick (PP): This critically acclaimed ensemble film could end up with all four stars nominated for supporting awards. Thomas LaTourette (TL): It sounds like an explosive four person drama, with strong performances throughout, though the trailer barely touches on that.
