Looking at the Weekend: Oct. 14-16, 2022

With Smile trying for a third week at the top of the box office chart, its chances are slim with the literally ultimate Halloween film, Halloween Ends, releasing. Jamie Lee Curtis’ final outing as Laurie Strode should do well at the box office and handily top the chart.

	Wesley Lovell (WL): It’s going to be a big Oscar contender in at least one category (Best Actress), so it has to be a film to see. Peter J. Patrick (PP): Highly anticipated biopic is certain to receive a Best Actress Oscar nod for Danielle Deadwyler as Emmett Till’s mother at the very least. Thomas LaTourette (TL): Danielle Deadwyler is said to be superb in this, hopefully the rest of the movie will equal her performance.
