Looking at the Weekend: Nov. 19-21, 2021

After two weeks at the top of the heap, Eternals will give way this weekend to a new box office champ, Ghostbusters: Afterlife. The film gives a lot of fan service in the trailer, so it’s sure to top the box office. The only other competition is King Richard, which should be successful enough, but will struggle to come close to Ghostbusters‘ overall haul.

	Wesley Lovell (WL): I’m interested to see where they take this one and if they completely ignore the all-female version that came out a few years ago. Peter J. Patrick (PP): I wasn’t a fan of the original and had no interest in the remake, but this looks fairly decent. Thomas LaTourette (TL): It will probably be decently funny, though I do not expect it to be better than the original or the latest remake.

Patrick (PP): Sports films are generally not my thing but this one is said to be a real crowd pleaser. I just hope they did not use all the humor in the trailer.
