With Heretic performing shockingly poorly in its opening, it’s clear that it will take another big release to win and that will be Red One. Blending in the holidays and two relatively popular action stars should do good business.

Red One
Wesley Lovell: I like Chris Evans and Kiernan Shipka so it could be worth a shot though I doubt it will be very good.
Peter J. Patrick: This is a minor holiday movie.
Thomas La Tourrette: This looks like a truly dreadful movie.

The Limited Slate
Wesley Lovell: I might catch All We Imagine but I have little interest in either it or the Anzu.
Peter J. Patrick: Both of these films look promising.ย All We Imagine as Light is a Cannes Film Festival winner.
Thomas La Tourrette: All We Imagine as Light sounds great from the reviews, though it suffers from a tepid trailer. Ghost Cat Anzu looks like a poor knock off of Hayao Miyazaki.
