Thor: Love and Thunder is set to take the summer by storm. It’s poised to claim this weekend’s top spot, but will it do so enough to be the year’s biggest debut? It’s possible, though unlikely. I could even see it claiming less than $100 million.

	Wesley Lovell (WL): After a promising start and a faltering sequel, Thor has shifted into pure absurdity and it’s the most exciting thing. Will gladly give this one a go. Peter J. Patrick (PP): Haven’t seen any of the Thor films, don’t plan to start with this feeble looking entry. Thomas LaTourette (TL): It has been an enjoyable series, but this one feels a little forced.

	Wesley Lovell (WL): It seems like the film can’t settle on a title and that indecision may reflect a difficulty in marketing it, which is plain from the dull trailer. Peter J. Patrick (PP): Overheated melodrama looks like something to avoid. Thomas LaTourette (TL): For a film that bills itself as an erotic thriller, the trailer was very tame.
