Disney has a stranglehold on the box office throughout the year and every film it releases will dominate for at least a week. The same will be true of Dolittle whose only competition is the second week in wide release for 1917, meaning it’s going to dominate and probably for a two or three weeks after that.

	Wesley Lovell (WL): I’m only mildly curious about this film. It looks horrendous, but the effects look pretty good. Peter J. Patrick (PP): Previous films from the beloved children’s novels have been disappointing, here’s hoping this one is a step up. Thomas LaTourette (TL): I was a fan of Hugh Lofting’s books growing up, but this looks to have little in common with them. It looks like a bad film.

Thomas LaTourette (TL): This looks earnest, perhaps too much so, but it just does not make me want to see it.

	Wesley Lovell (WL): Remakes and reboots of horror films rarely turn out well, so I would skip it. Peter J. Patrick (PP): Low-rent horror film has an interesting look but is that enough? Thomas LaTourette (TL): I found the trailer confusing and not quite sure of what was going on or why, so it may be a good film to pass on.

Patrick (PP): Convoluted mystery probably goes down easier in a TV viewing than in the theatre. Thomas LaTourette (TL): I will confess to being totally lost while watching this trailer, which does not does not bode well for the full movie.

Thomas LaTourette (TL): A chaotic trailer showed lots of things blowing up, but gave no idea of who or why, so probably only a film for students of Chinese battles.

	Wesley Lovell (WL): A cheesy concept situated around a visually unappealing trailer. Peter J. Patrick (PP): Well-reviewed Japanese animated film is one I’m actually looking forward to seeing. Thomas LaTourette (TL): This looks like a charming animated film with mystical elements and young love.
