Fist of the Condor (Limited)
Hurry Monday (Limited)
Little Richard: I Am Everything (Limited)
One Day as a Lion (Limited)

Youโ€™re Killing Me (Limited)

WIDE RELEASES

Air

Wesley Lovell: Itโ€™s the first major Oscar contender of the year, the latest from director Ben Affleck. Apart from his one misstep, heโ€™s still a good-to-great director, so of course Iโ€™m interested.

Peter J. Patrick: Sports comedies can be hit or miss. The trailer for Air doesnโ€™t grab me, but advance word is that itโ€™s the best film of its type since Jerry Maguire 27 years ago, which makes it a must-see.

Thomas La Tourrette: It looks to be entertaining with great reviews so far.

Paint

Wesley Lovell: An actual Bob Ross biopic would be more compelling than this spoof.

Peter J. Patrick: Paint looks like a nothing film about nothing.

Thomas La Tourrette: I am dubious about this film. Maybe good reviews will convince me its worth seeing.

The Super Mario Bros. Movie

Wesley Lovell: Chris Pratt is the sole reason Iโ€™m not very interested in this movie. While Iโ€™m not a fan of Mario and his cohorts, Iโ€™d at least give them a shot.

Peter J. Patrick: I have never seen a Super Mario Bros. movie or TV show and donโ€™t plan to start now.

Thomas La Tourrette: This looks too cute by far, and I doubt I will see it unless it pulls off a nomination for animated feature.

LIMITED RELEASES

The Limited Slate

Wesley Lovell: Joyland is the only one with a trailer that almost grabbed me. How to Blow Up a Pipeline has potential, but the rest arenโ€™t that interesting.

Peter J. Patrick: The only limited release that seems like it might be good is Joyland.

Thomas La Tourrette: From the reviews, Joyland and Showing Up look to be the most interesting, though neither had that convincing a trailer.
