Sony’s Marvel properties get another infusion of antiheroes, but so far there’s no sign that anyone’s that excited about this one. Still, facing off against the fading likes of The Batman and the second week of The Lost City, it will likely still top the box office.

	Wesley Lovell (WL): The more I see of Jared Leto, the less I want to see of him. Peter J. Patrick (PP): Latest Marvel comic adaptation could be good if it doesn’t rely too heavily on CGI. Thomas LaTourette (TL): Marvel films are usually pretty good, but this one just doesn’t appeal and the trailer definitely does not excite.

Patrick (PP): Directorial debut of Lost Daughter producer Charles Dorfman could be an interesting black comedy. Thomas LaTourette (TL): It bills itself as a mystery thriller, but the trailer tries for comedy mostly, and just seems to be a big mess.

Thomas LaTourette (TL): I like Chris Pine, but it will take more than him to raise this ex-soldier on a vendetta into something worth seeing.

Patrick (PP): Mass killings in Tasmania by a man with the mind of an 11-year-old and IQ of 66 doesn’t look especially interesting. Thomas LaTourette (TL): If I hadn’t read the description of the film, I would have no idea what it’s about. Not a good sign for a picture, and the trailer does not incur interest.

	Wesley Lovell (WL): We’ve seen so many of these types of films that it’s hard to get excited. Yet, it looks like it could be better thant he average, if only barely. Peter J. Patrick (PP): Lightweight French comedy about a rose farm looks a bit dull. Thomas LaTourette (TL): Yes it looks like the typical underdog movie of a person striving for success against all odds, but, perhaps because I have dozens of roses in my yard, I would give it a chance.
