Review: (#1) A cabinet of curiosities you might say. It’s an interesting design even if it doesn’t tell us much about the film itself.
(#2) The coloring book sketch concept is a good one, though it’s lack of color isn’t great for a poster design. (#3) On the other hand, this partly colored-in version of the same poster is an inspired choices and it’s visually compelling to boot. (#4) This French poster design does a good job of trading on the partly-colored coloring book aesthetic and turning it into a visual representation of the film’s two periods.
Trailer Rating: B+ / B

Review: (#1) Todd Haynes films are always visual marvels, but this trailer does some interesting things graphically while concisely creating presence and story. It’s a little convoluted in places, but that’s to be expected without revealing too much.
(#2) The time-spanning narrative gets a slightly improved focus, but the film loses a bit of its magic in the process. It’s a film that looks interesting, but more so for its design work than for its story.
Oscar Prospects:
Todd Haynes should always be considered a potential major Oscar contender, so keep an eye out on this one.
