Review: (#1) As compelling as this is within the thematic concept of the film, it’s ultimately a bit too minimal to be impressive.
(#2) It almost gives the passer-by an idea of who’s in it, but the use of title to block parts of their faces and leaving only the bland dresses to tell the setting just makes this design unwieldy and unappealing.
Trailer Rating: C+ / B+

Review: (#1) There is a mystery at the heart of the film that is largely glossed over in the trailer making it difficult to find a reason to be encouraged to watch the film.
(#2) As we finally get more information about the film, the setting, presence, and emotional heft of the subject matter comes over much better. The film looks promising even if it doesn’t quite break any rules for trailer design.
Oscar Prospects:
Early buzz is strong and with such a large cast of great women, it will be difficult for any single actor to stand out in the ensemble. That said, the film should do well outside of the acting categories as well.
