From IMDb: “40 years after the first haunting at Eel Marsh House, a group of children evacuated from WWII London arrive, awakening the house’s darkest inhabitant.”
Poster: C / C+
Review: Neither of these designs is particularly original, nor are they individually frightening. (#1) This has the woman-in-black motif to make it feel a part of the franchise. (#2) Meanwhile, this design eliminates the titular villain, but has a modestly creepy image as a replacement.

Review: Refusing to tie itself into its predecessor in any meaningful way, other than with a title and a vague memory of the setting, doesn’t give the viewer much interest in going along for the second ride. This seems like a formulaic haunted house horror film that doesn’t even make an effort in being original.
Oscar Prospects:
None.
