Synopsis:

Review: There’s not much to say about the first three and ninth designs. They are all variations on the same theme, trying to entice the audience with dinosaurs, grandeur and spirit. They are all different enough to be distinct, but only the ninth one really sticks out as the correct sales tool for this kind of film.

Somehow the producers think this movie will be a galactic hit because it targets kids. Thus, the childish character designs that lack any kind of spark. If the film takes off, these could sell. If it doesn’t, they will have been a waste.

Trailer: C- / C+

Review: The first trailer is what’s been playing in theaters for weeks. Trying to sell the film as some prehistoric adventure with a bland narration and lots of wasted theatrics.

The second design does a much better job identifying this a kid-targeted picture and plays up the childish elements a bit too much. Overall, this trailer is much more successful feat that should create more interest in the target audience than the first one has so far.
