Review: There are too many images on the poster to make it stylized, despite their general arrangement on the left of the work. There isn’t a lot that’s interesting enough about it.

Trailer Rating: B-

Review: There isn’t a lot to the preview. Starring a real-life 12-year-old piano prodigy, the film looks interesting in only the fact that it’s a real pianist, and not separate images of a pianist and an actor. The movie doesn’t seem like it has a lot to offer except more philosophizing on the hazards of prodigy and lack of ability to grow up.

Oscar Prospects:

It was submitted to the Academy for Foreign Language consideration in 2006, but it’s unlikely the film will earn nominations (in non-Foreign Film categories) this year despite its exclusion from the official category last year.
